Jovan Nicholson, grandson of Ben and Winifred Nicholson, is an independant art historian and an expert on Winifred Nicholson.
In his talk he will explore the relationships between these artists during a crucial decade in the development of modern art in Britain.Winifred wrote "All artists are unique and can only unite as complementaries and not as similarities..."
The talk will concentrate on the links between this group of artists and will discuss the new discoveries and the latest research that will be included in a forthcoming exhibition, curated by Jovan Nicholson, to be held at Leeds Art Gallery in November 2013.
