Our visit to the Barber Institute of Fine Art, University of Birmingham, will begin with a guided tour focussing on the powerful art and contradictory personality of British First World War artist Christopher Nevinson.There will be time to explore the Gallery's extensive permanent collections which include works by Rubens, Gainsborough, Manet, Degas and many more. Lunch will be followed by a visit to nearby Winterbourne House, now restored to its Edwardian Arts and Crafts splendour.
Price includes coach travel, all admissions, guided tour and light lunch. Return to Leeds for approximately 7pm.
