Leeds Art Fund

The LAF President the Earl of Halifax has invited members of the LAF and those interested in joining the new Patrons Group to visit the collections at his home at Garrowby, East Yorkshire. The tour will be led by Sir Nicholas Brooksbank, the expert on the renowned Halifax Collection. The early Victorian house was transformed in the 1980s by the architect Francis Johnson to accommodate the paintings: sporting pictures (including nine Stubbs), Old Masters - many from the historic Temple Newsam Collection - and many fine family portraits.
