'The Bedroom' c 1912 by Sylvia Gosse
Sylvia Gosse has close associations with Walter Sickert - she was taught by him and then taught with him. Author Evelyn Waugh remarked that Gosse's paintings were 'horrid - all iron bedsteads and Sickert'.
Nigel Walsh (Curator of Contemporary Art, Leeds Art Gallery) offers a riposte and places Gosse's work in the context of the significant holdings of Camden Town paintings in the Leeds collection.
Tickets will be available through Eventbrite. Register for your free ticket from 1 October until 8 November.
