Raby Castle is one of the finest and best-preserved medieval castles in the north of England. After a private tour of the castle there will be free time to explore the delightful gardens and parkland before continuing to The Bowes Museum.
After lunch at the museum (included) we will have an exclusive tour of the exhibition ‘SOLD! The Great British Antiques Story’ in the company of curator (and LAF Chairman) Dr Mark Westgarth. This is the first time that the history of antique dealing has been the subject of an exhibition, which focuses on antique dealers, their shops and practices, and features many objects not previously on public display.
£60, includes coach transport, all admissions and tours, morning coffee, light lunch (£50 for National Art Pass holders)
Please see booking form for coach joining places and times.
