Meet at Wakefield Cathedral for a guided tour of this fascinating building from its Anglo-Saxon origins through the Victorian restoration by George Gilbert Scott to its 20th century additions.  The cathedral has fine medieval carvings, a 17th century rood screen and font and the most complete collection of stained-glass windows by Charles Kempe (1837-1907).

Then we will make our way to the Hepworth Gallery for a private tour of the exhibition Magdalene Odundo: The Journey of Things.  This exhibition features over 50 works by this world-renowned ceramist alongside her selection of objects spanning over 3,000 years of culture from across the globe reflecting the remarkable diversity of her influences.
