The exhibition Becoming Henry Moore at the Henry Moore Institute looks at the early career
of Britain’s foremost modern sculptor. Beginning with his student days in Yorkshire and
London it examines the influences – such as ethnographic art and early Italian wall
painting - which played such an important part in his artistic development and continued
to inform his work for the rest of his life.
After our guided tour we make the short walk to historic Quebec’s Hotel for a traditional
afternoon tea.
Meet at the Henry Moore Institute, The Headrow, for our guided tour at 2pm.
£24, includes guided tour and afternoon tea but not transport.
