Leeds Art Fund depends entirely on members and supporters for its income

Amber Peach Bowl, Chinese, 19th century. Gift to LAF by Mrs Audrey Burton in memory of Stanley Burton.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give to Leeds Art Fund we get an extra 25p from HM Revenue and Customs. In order for us to claim Gift Aid please enclose with your donation a signed declaration that you wish the gift to be treated as Gift Aid. You must be paying enough UK income tax and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount that we reclaim.

Please consider leaving Leeds Art Fund a legacy in your will: LAF is a charitable organisation and all legacies to it are exempt from Capital Transfer Tax and aggregation without limit. Bequests can take the form of a lump sum, or a residue, or a fraction of your estate. Some members might prefer to consider leaving works of fine or decorative art, but if you are considering this it would be helpful if you could first seek the advice of the Secretary who can let you know if any item will fit into the permanent collection of Leeds Art Galleries.

The following would be a suitable form of words to send to your solicitor for inclusion in your will: "I bequeath to Leeds Art Fund a legacy of £.......... free of all taxes." The Hon Solicitor of LAF is always very happy to advise potential benefactors.

Leeds Art Fund is the trading name of Leeds Art Collections Fund, registered charity number 1171891
