<p align="JUSTIFY"><span lang="EN-AU">Percy Francis Gethin </span> <p align="JUSTIFY"><font size="4">(1874-1916)</font> <p align="JUSTIFY">  <p align="JUSTIFY">  <p align="JUSTIFY">  <font size="4">A painter, etcher and draughtsman, Gethin was born in Holywell, Sligo, Ireland. He studied at the Royal College of Art, at the Westminster School of Art and at the Atelier Colarossi in Paris. He settled in London in 1905. He worked mainly as an etcher of architectural subjects and was a teacher of life-drawing at the Central School of Arts and Crafts. In 1916 he was killed during the Battle of the Somme.
